WATCH OUT BEFORE YOU ACCEPT PRASAD!

Bangalore, Dec. 31: A female serial killer who murdered six women with an unusual poison often linked to the LTTE was arrested here last night trying to sell the victims’ jewellery.

Mallika, 43, whose real name is K.D. Kempamma, took her victims to dharamshalas, forced the quick-killing cyanide powder into their mouth and robbed them, officers said. The last five murders were between October 10 and December 18 this year.

Officers said they didn’t know how Mallika got hold of cyanide, available only in certain laboratories and industries, and often used by cornered militants to kill themselves lest they be tortured in custody.

Mallika would befriend lonely women in Bangalore who were looking for spiritual solace or a cure, police said. She would convince them that all they needed to do was a special puja.

Together, they would travel to a temple outside the city — the quarry wearing her jewellery on Mallika’s advice — and check in at a dharamshala. By morning, the victim would be dead with her jewellery, money and cellphone missing.

While her companion prayed with her eyes shut, Mallika would pour cyanide powder out of a vial and force open the victim’s mouth — often by pulling her hair, officers said. They claimed each murder earned her Rs 25,000-30,000.

Even a few grams of cyanide powder can kill in minutes, Dr Prabhakar Reddy of Wockhardt Hospital said.

“Cyanide powder is absorbed into the body very fast, especially if administered below the tongue. It prevents the cells from receiving oxygen. The victim turns blue and is dead within 5-10 minutes.”

The police said Mallika lived in Bangalore and that her husband had thrown her out in 1998. She apparently has three children but it’s not clear if they live with her.

She killed the first time in October 1999, city police chief N. Achyut Rao said. Victim Mamata, 30, was at her home in Hoskote, 30km from Bangalore. The next victim in 2000 escaped death by screaming and bringing her family rushing. Mallika was accused of theft and jailed for six months.

The last five murders took place in dharamshalas where no one could have come to the victims’ aid. Elizabeth, 61, was promised the return of her missing grandson, Yashodamma a cure for her asthma.

Rao said the police seized several dharamshala keys from Mallika, who used to lock the rooms before leaving, as well as gold and silver jewellery, mobiles and SIM cards.

Cyanide, a powder at room temperature, is lethal as solid, liquid or gas. It can kill when mixed with food, and kills faster when administered on an empty stomach.

The name “potassium cyanide” had acquired a romantic resonance in Bengal after the 1930 storming of Writers’ Buildings by the legendary Benoy-Badal-Dinesh who, when surrounded, attempted to swallow the chemical.

LTTE cadres are said to have a cyanide capsule hung from their neck, which they can bite to release the chemical if caught. During the hunt for Rajiv Gandhi’s killers, two LTTE men, being treated at a Bangalore nursing home, had put cyanide vials into their mouths as soon as the police arrived.

WHAT DID PAKISTAN ACHIEVE.....

What Did Pakistan Achieve After Being Constituted As An Islamic Nation?- Would It Not Be Worth & Fortunate Had It Stayed Within Bharat?- Shall It Help Pakistan Play With Bharat? -By Professional Engineer Suraj Singh Abu Dhabi

Declaration-Blog is based on personal observations & thoughts exclusively
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Objective: Is Pakistan really a successful nation? An analysis.
1 Pakistan failed in attaining its basic objectives.

2 Just making an Islamic state cannot help the people.

3 Pakistan has no bright future. Its people are unfortunate.

4 Public of Pakistan is indecisive. Army is overambitious.
Happy 2008 To All Citizens Of The World
Let 2008 Being Light & Hope To The World. Terrorism May Go.

Jai Bharat Vande Matram

1 Pakistan is burning to an extent not acceptable to the international society. The objectives & aims for which Pakistan was created by Jinah did not result to meet the requirements to live in peace as an Islamic nation avoiding the domination by Hindus had it been integrated within Bharat. Pakistan was not a consensus nation by the whole Muslims that were living in Bharat in the pre independence era. Pakistan was generated based on a philosophy of Islamic rule & the area in Bharat having majority population of Muslims had been decided to be a part of Pakistan. It was also unfortunate that the whole community of Muslims at that time did not positively respond to leave Bharat to join the newly borne nation as East & West Pakistan. I think lucky were those Bharat Muslims who did not prefer to join Pakistan on a permanent basis.

2 Had they joined Pakistan that time, they would have met the same fate of existing nowhere. Even after being a separated nation, Pakistan always had a grudge type feeling on the hearts of Pakistan people as well as the government against Bharat. All prime ministers & the presidents of Pakistan included having the grudge that is out of Bharat’s understanding. In fact, Pakistan has not contented its ambitions just by being separated as an independent small nation but always tried to equalize it with Bharat on all the national as well international forums throughout. All leaders in Pakistan had a feeling to rule Bharat as is evident by the statements of few leaders to wage a continuous war with Bharat for one thousand years that is never possible but the fear contents are expressed by such statements. Pakistan is like a separated brother in a family where none of the member of the smaller family is ever satisfied but keeps an eye on the continuous development of the parent family. Pakistan after being separated never considered itself even as apart of extended family of the previous clan but isolated itself as an equal power that was evident by its waging wars against Bharat for the gains of nothing but giving Bharat problems about Kashmir that has nothing to do with Pakistan.

3 Pakistan could neither develop as an Islamic nation nor as a successful democratic republic. It tried to achieve many a status but all in vain. It never thought constructively for the progress of its people. It always tried to play with Bharat negatively in general throughout its history after 1947. Pakistan has been a failure as a nation. Just imagine had all Muslims left Bharat in 1947 which was the real circumstances’ requirement according to the decisions for the formation of an Islamic nation, in case an option not being allowed to stay back permanently was included, what would have been the status of Pakistan then? The population of Pakistan would be 300 million people & multitude of problems as it is now. On the other hands in that case, there would have been no problems in Bharat about the community frictions & talks of prevailing fake secularism minus Hindus. All Bharat residents would have stayed peaceful & all Muslims in Pakistan also do so. The Pakistan used to claim that it represents Bharat Muslim. It looks ridiculous really. Why do you only represent them, integrate them within yourself if you can? It shall be the best for the humanity.

4 Pakistan never believed in its potential & the capacity of its people. It is evident that during history, Pakistan has never been a stabilised nation. It had always allowed a grudge about Bharat & simultaneously, it tried to draw benefits from us as well. It always looked to the face of US for its help as well as for its military build up. It never regarded Bharat as a friendly nation. A gulf had been drawn between Hindus & Muslims virtually due to its involvement. All students were taught in Pakistan that Hindus are Kafirs & they had to remain concerned about that religious state for ever. I have experienced that Pakistanis know nothing about Bharat’s culture. Even the name of Ram is not known to them. Ramayana & Mahabharata are something like alien world to them. Such a high degree of arrogance has been developed in their minds about us. It was always taught that Bharat is an enemy of Pakistan. It is also unfortunate that a section of Muslims in Bharat also follows the same policy about the Pakistan particularly, belonging to uneducated class. That section of the Muslims have been collaborated with the Pakistan’s designs in spreading terrorism all over Bharat.

5 Pakistan did not succeed in wars as well as by other means of internationalizing various issues consequently, it adopted the policy of attacking Bharat utilising indirectly imposed wars by the use of terrorism as a weapon. That has really brought a success to Pakistan wherein Bangladesh is also involved. Bangladesh is another example of another brother of Pakistan having no respect for those who helped it when there was a need. A friend in need is a friend indeed does not hold good in case of Bangladesh. It appears that Pakistan & Bangladesh have now in a connivance to create as many problems as possible for within Bharat so that they may be able to rule over Bharat in coming decades as directly it is not possible to win a war against Bharat, while nuclear weapons’ use may not be feasible due to the existing circumstances around the world. In fact, there is no future for Pakistan as is evident from the existing crisis currently in 2007/2008. Presently, Pakistan is a virtual Kingdom of Musaraf who shall never like to give it up. Even if the democratic elections are successful, that lawmakers shall work only for the namesake. Ultimate ruling shall be ordered by the King Musaraf exclusively. Pakistan has since beginning of its inception talked of Kashmir intentionally on whatever possible platform & left no stone unturned to avoid it. It tried to show its concern as if Kashmir is one of its own problems. It has waged three full wars against Bharat & lost them. Even then, it did not also learn from its failures & now has been waging terrorism war on Bharat that has also turned on its own in natural reciprocation by its own people.

6 It does not matter whether or not, the democratic process continues or it does not. The important question is whether or not, the Pakistan people believe in republican democracy or they do not? First of all, they have to believe in that they belong to Pakistan as a nation founded on strong foundations as well as their hearts lie in that state. Until, a sense of belongingness develops, the situation is not going to improve. Pakistanis who have got their own nation, do not care for the first right on the natural resources for the Muslims as is being done by Bharat government. Nobody knows whose right it is in Pakistan? Till now, they could not find the objectives for which the nation was separated. They do not know where they have to go with the exception of having a thought of ruling Bharat by destabilizing Bharat using the weapon of terrorism. So far, Pakistan has been a successful nation to create many problems in Bharat such as sending terrorists into the territory of Bharat, floating counterfeit currency in the Bharat financial markets to the tune of hundreds of thousands of crores, shooting into Bharat crores of Bangladeshis & execution of many other hidden schemes. Pakistan has seen very little so far replication of what it has been doing using its efforts to destabilise Bharat.

7 Those persons who do not have their own thoughts, concepts as well as do not help themselves for progress, even the god cannot help them that being the situation of Pakistan. Pakistan does not know what is good for its people? Its people are hapless as they believe in no other than Islamic existence. Similar, is the situation in most of the Bharat Muslims that have the same type of orthodox thoughts. We are not interested to criticize Pakistan or its affairs but it is always better to analyse the issues to learn about & from the mistakes. We as a nation Bharat have to learn a lot from such mistakes. Our Muslim population should also learn a lot from the effects of being such a state as Pakistan, They should analyse what has been achieved by Pakistan & what has been lost during 60 years? The nation was separated based on the religious considerations exclusively & the results are available. The consideration was based on jealously only & not on the real requirement. The both communities had lived for centuries in Bharat & it is not understood what caused sudden requirement for a national partition? Just for the sake of becoming the premiers, the two cannons Nehru & Jinah broke a peaceful living society. Despite being created as an Islamic state, it is not a state. Despite being created a Bharat state, it is not a Bharat state exclusively. Here lies the danger of an imminent emergence of a gradual generating Muslim state within a secular state. But Bharat is not at all interested to find itself in the same state of burning as is happening in Pakistan. To avoid such replication in future from its neighbours, Bharat has to be very strict from all aspects & try to suppress the devil of terrorism as well as the infiltration from all its borders with Pakistan, Bangladesh & Nepal should stop immediately. Not even a single person should be allowed to enter without given any legal authority while all staying illegally, should be searched & deported. Even those who have been awarded citizenship for the sake of creating vote bank politics, should face deportation. Bharat cannot trust the people who migrated into its territories as there is no other requirement for them except the spread or promotion of terrorism. Bharat cannot afford to keep on allowing the lack of its existing controls that have not been successful on combating the ill designs of Pakistan & Bangladesh. Bharat has to control it willfully without involving any politics. Muslims in Bharat must cooperate with the nation in eliminating the evil of terrorism in their own interest. UPA & Left have to open their relaxing eyes.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Happy 2008 To All Global Citizens. Enjoy A Very Pleasing Lucky & Prosperous New Year. All The Best.

ATTAINING GOD IS AS EASY AS GOING TO SLEEP IF YOU HAVE SHARNAGATI

:Shree Hari:

30th December, 2007, Sunday
Paush Krishna Shasti, Vikram Samvat 2064, Ravivar

Best of all and the easiest of all spiritual practices, and one of great importance is "sharanagati" (taking refuge in God). It is only difficult, as long as there is egoism about anything in us. Egoism about our strength, our organization / group, our position, or wealth, our family, our properties, our abilities, our knowledge, our wealth, etc. If there is no egoism about anything, then surrendering to God will be very simple. When we hold on to anything e.g. we are very capable in this and that, then that is considered egoism. But when there is no egoism, then the task is simple.

Just like when you fall asleep, you gently and effortlessly ease into sleep. There is no effort at all. So is God Realization as easy for one who has surrendered to God. Also, if there is dependence on something else, then realization will take time. Therefore the Lord has declared in the Gita -

"Ananyachetaah satatam yo maam smriti nityasha.
Tasyaaham sulabh paarth nityayuktasya yoginah." (Gita 8:14)

"O Partha (son of Kunti)! The Yogi who perpetually thinks of Me and
undividedly remains absorbed in Me, to him, I am easily attainable." (Gita 8:14)"

A great Soul "Mahatmaa" is rare to attain, but God is easily attainable "sulabh."

When there is no dependence on anything else besides God, then realization is very simple. God has clearly said in Gita 8:14, that He is "sulabh", very simple to attain Me. God is present every where, therefore God is even easier to attain than a saint / a great soul. The only thing needed is "ananya bhaava" "exclusivity in inner expression."

Forgive us for our....

The Lord's Prayer

A 6-year-old was overheard reciting the Lord's Prayer at a church service:

"And forgive us our trash passes, as we forgive those who passed trash against us."

DESCRIPTION OF AWAKENING

Describing his awakening, the Buddha said: "Coming to be, coming to be! Ceasing to be, ceasing to be! At that thought, monks, there arose in me a vision of things not before called to mind. Knowledge arose--such is form, such is the coming to be of form, such is its passing away. Recognition arose--such is its coming to be, such is its passing away. And the state of abiding in the understanding of arising and passing away--that too arose."

Liaquat Bagh vs Shimla

Assassination of Benazir Bhutto again left a question before the people of Pakistan and India: What did they get from the partition of undivided India? How can they survive now as peace loving neighbors? This assassintion also hides many facts, realities and possibilities which should be the subject of historians, politicians and analysts.

Liaquat Ali Khan was assassinated

First Prime Minister of Pakistan Liaquat Ali Khan was assassinated on October 16, 1951 when he was addressing a gathering of 100,000 at Company Bagh (later renamed Liaquat Bagh) in Rawalpindi.

Benazir Bhutto is also assassinated in Liaquat Bagh where Benazir Bhutto first woman Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto is shot dead.

Hindu relatives of Liaquat Ali Khan and Benazir Bhutto

Hindu relatives of Liaquat Ali Khan and Benazir Bhutto are still in Gujarat. Jinnah and Phioze Khan (father in law of Sonia Gandhi) were also belonging to Gujarat. Is there any lesson from the victory of BJP in Gujarat?

Please find following details in the article titled 'Inter Caste Marriages vs. Inter Religion or Racial Marriages
At: http://www.newsanalysisindia.com/106082007.htm

Jinnah himself was of converted Hindu family
http://www.newsanalysisindia.com/115112007.htm

Jinnah
Jinnah himself was from a family who were converted Hindus. Jinnah's wife's family (Ruttie) was strong Indian nationalists. They along with Ruttie were from the Parsi community who strongly opposed the idea of partition of India. Jinnah's wife Ruttie passed away long before the partition. They opposed the marriage of Jinnah and Ruttie. Jinnah married his best friend's daughter; he used to regularly visit their house to play bridge. He married Ruttie when she was 16 years old and his best friend (Ruttie's father) felt betrayed and never forgave him.
Though Jinnah married a Parsi and converted her to Islam, he was upset when Dinah his daughter married an Indian businessman Mr. Wadia. Dinah Wadia is now settled in New York and thinks the partition as not a good idea (maybe because of the present state of Pakistan).

Liaquat Ali Khan's wife was not a Muslim

Assassinated first PM of Pakistan was Liyakat Ali Khan. Her grandfather a Hindu Brahmin (Pants) converted to Christianity. When Rennee Pant married Khan she had to become a Muslim and was loyal to Pakistan while her brothers and other family members stayed back in India.
Aziz Munshi, Mr. Chunrigar's family (belonging to Hindu Gujarati high caste) is still in India.

Liaquat Ali Khan and Jinnah converted their wives into Islam. Did Hindu oppose marriage of Indira Gandhi with Phiroze? Did they oppose marriage of Rajiv Gandhi with Christian Sonia? Would Hindu force Phiroze and Sonia for converting themselves in Hindu religion?
http://www.newsanalysisindia.com/111042007.htm

Benazir Bhutto.s grandmother was a Hindu
http://www.newsanalysisindia.com/109072007.htm

Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto's mother was a Hindu who was converted to Islam. Benzair Hindu relatives from her paternal grandmother's side are still in India (Jamnagar).

Can we know our forefathers? Why Riots and terrorism?

There is too much on the public domain and in my past articles about the controversial Gandhi dynasty. From where 'Gandhi' surname was brought, God knows. Sonia Gandhi is Christian. What is the religion of Rahul Gandhi?
http://www.newsanalysisindia.com/121122006.htm

Rahul said in election campaign that his 'Nanihal' is Gujart. Native place of Phiroz, husband of Indira Gandhi was Gujarat.
Who has right to defame defamed dynasty?
http://www.newsanalysisindia.com/118122007.htm

SHIMLA

There was Shimla Agreement signed by Julfikar Ali Bhutto and Indira Gandhi which is kept in the cold storage by Pakistani rulers? Was Shimla agreement a Himlayan blunder? Pakistan sponsored Terrorism came after this started by juntas of Pakistan.

Just after Gujarat BJP's victory in Himachal Pradesh gives message which should can be heard and read if we are not dumb and blind.

The above facts with other facts give few messages.

Liaquat baugh in 1973 and Jalianwala bagh

On March 23, 1973, the Federal Security Force, a paramilitary force under the alleged orders of Bhutto, attacked a public opposition rally at the Liaquat Bagh in the town of Rawalpindi and killed a dozen people; many more were wounded by their automatic gunfire. Wali Khan narrowly escaped a bullet during the attack. Wali Khan leader of Baluchistan was the son of Gandhi of 'Red Shirt'

Sindhi, Baloch and Pashtun are India's Genuine Friends
Bhutto was Sindhi Muslim.
http://www.newsanalysisindia.com/120042007.htm

Jinnah fulfilled his demand of the Partition of India on the basis of his two-nation theory that the Hindus and the Muslims could not live together in the same nation. Jinnah's two-nation theory was supported by the Punjabi, Bengali and Sindhi Muslims, but not by the Pashtuns and the Balochs. The Pashtuns led by Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan in 'Lal Kurta (Red shirt), who came to be known as the Frontier Gandhi, and the Balochs led by their tribal sardars, strongly opposed the policies of Jinnah and supported Gandhi., he was also known as Badshah Khan (also Bacha Khan, Urdu, Pashto: lit., "King of Chiefs"), and Sarhaddi Gandhi (Urdu: lit., "Frontier Gandhi"). In 1987 he became the first non-citizen to be awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award.
He was the father of late Wali Khan.

Khan Abdul Wali Khan Pashto:

(January 11, 1917 - January 26, 2006) was a Pashtun freedom fighter against the British Raj, a senior politician in Pakistan and a writer.
His early years were marked by his involvement in his fathers non-violent resistance movement, the "red shirts" against the British Raj.
In his late teens he became active in the Indian National Congress. After the formation of Pakistan, Khan became a controversial figure in Pakistani politics, he was referred to as both a hero and traitor in Pakistan during his political career because of his association to the Congress!

Mahatma Gandhi said that partition would be on his death body.

Is Gandhi gram-Swaraj in Nandigram?
http://www.newsanalysisindia.com/115112007.htm

Last wish of Mahatma Gandhi was to abolish Congress which could not be fulfilled still by power grabber greedy dynasty and its blind followers.
http://www.newsanalysisindia.com/128022007.htm

Mahatma Gandhi and Frontier Gandhi of 'Red shirt' never supported the partition of India. Are present Gandhis the followers of above said both Gandhis? Are present Gandhi-s heirs of these Gandhis?

Nehru and Jinnah accepted partition to rule India and Pakistan respectively. Both are not here and there. Are followers of both happy and living prosperous and peaceful livings?

Capt Amrinder with daughter of Yahya Khan's Rani General

Love affairs of 'amrinder Singh with the Pakistani journalist Aroosa Alam, mother of Pak Singer and daughter of Yayhya Khan' Rani General, is the talk of this week in the media and political circle. As report comes from the Chandigarh, Aroosa Alam said on Dec 26, the relationship of her with Amrinder Singh was only a friendship, and that she "is definitely not an ISI agent".

Fatwa against Love

But the matter doesn't seem to be ending with that. As the Pakistani journalist addressed the media, Maulana Mabibur Rehman Shahi Imam, Jama Masjid Ludhiana, issued a fatwa in Ludhiana against him.

As per Islamic law, the Ludhiana cleric said, any Muslim woman and her paramour, if found to be having illicit relations, are liable to be punished by stoning to death in public. The Maulana even went a step further ~ he called upon Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to immediately order an inquiry into this "affair" (the relationship) to find out whether, Aroosa had any relations with ISI or any other intelligence agency of Pakistan.

"My mother has been hurt sufficiently by the media already; we don't want her private life exploited any further," stated a stern Aroosa.

Aroosa, same like her mother also got successful in making relationship with the big guns of Pakistan. She allured Hamid Nasir Chatha, a Jat politician from Guranwala district and had made close contacts with him.

WORDS OF WISDOM FOR 2008

Anger is a condition in which

The tongue works faster than the mind .

You can't change the past,
but you can ruin the present

By worrying over the future

God always gives His best to those
who leave the choice with Him.

All people smile in the same language.

Everyone needs to be loved...
especially when they do not deserve it.

The real measure of a man's wealth
is what he has invested in eternity.

Laughter is God's sunshine.

Everyone has beauty
but not everyone sees it.

It's important for parents to live
the same things they teach.

Thank God for what you have,
TRUST GOD for what you need.

If you fill your heart with regrets of yesterday and the worries of tomorrow,
you have no today to be thankful for.

Man looks at outward appearance
but the Lord looks within.

The choice you make today
will usually affect tomorrow.

Take time to laugh, for it is

Patience is the ability to idle your motor

Can any of you enlighten me whether most of the details in the following story merely wishful gossip or speculation, or can any of this substantiated with provable facts? Sonia gandhi's role in murders of Rajeev Gandhi,Rajesh Pilot, Jitendra Prasad, and Madhavrao Scindia etc.
by solutionfutures@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (solutionfutures) Dec 9, 2004 at 08:18 AM

Besides the Palestinian extremists, the Maino family have had extensive business dealings with Saddam Hussein, and surprisingly with the LTTE ["the Tamil Tigers"] since 1984. Sonia's mother Paola Predebon Maino, and businessman Ottavio Quattrocchi were the main contacts with the Tigers. The mother used the LTTE for money laundering and Quattrocchi for selling weapons to earn commissions. Sonia's conduit to the LTTE has been and is through Arjun Singh who uses Bangalore as the nodal point for contact. There is a string of circumstantial evidence pointing to the prima facie possibility that the Maino family may have contracted the LTTE to kill Rajiv Gandhi. The family may have assured the LTTE that nothing would happen to them because they would ensure it is blamed on the Sikhs or the evidence so much fudged that no court would convict them. But D.R. Karthikeyan of the CBI who
led the SIT investigation got the support of Narasimha Rao and cracked the case, and got the LTTE convicted in the trial court, and which conviction was upheld in the Supreme Court. Although on the involvement of Congress Party in the assassination, DRK soft peddled on a number of leads perhaps because he did not want political controversy to put roadblocks on his investigation as a whole. The Justice J. S. Verma Commission, which was set up as the last official act of the Chandrashekhar government before demitting office on June 21, 1991, did find that the Congress leaders had disrupted the security arrangements for the Sriperumbudur meeting. The Commission wanted further probe into it but the Rao government rejected that demand. In the meantime under Sonia's pressure, the Jain Commission was set up by the Rao government, which tried to muddy the waters and thus exonerate the LTTE. But the trial court judgment convicting the LTTE came
earlier, and that sinister effort too failed. Nowadays, Sonia is quite unabashed in having political alliance with those who praise Rajiv Gandhi's killers. No Indian widow would ever do that. My investigations into Sonia's involvement in Rajiv's assassination is therefore still on. I am also author of a best seller titled Assassination Of Rajiv Gandhi,Unasked Questions and Unanswered Queries [published by Konark in 2000] in which I have given some indications. Ambika Soni is one such name. Ever wonder why she asked the President of India to set aside, on a mercy petition, the Supreme Court judgment directing that Rajiv Gandhi's LTTE killers be hanged to death, when she was not similarly moved for Satwant Singh who killed Indira Gandhi or recently for Dhanajoy Chattopadhyaya? The explanation for this special consideration for the LTTE lies in what Rajiv had told her in 1990.(READ SPECIALLY PART VI OF WHOLE STORY GIVEN UNDER)
WHOLE STORY Do You Know Your Sonia? By Dr. Subramanian Swamy August 15, 2004 Patriotic Indians should thank the President of India for having the courage by citing a legal hitch to dissuade Ms. Sonia Gandhi from staking her claim to form the government in May this year. She therefore did not as expected on May 17th become the Prime Minister of 1 billion plus people of India. It can now be said that the nation has been saved from a monumental, devastating, and permanent injury to India's national interest and patriotic psyche of Indians. And therefore every effort that can be made in ademocracy should be made to ensure that Ms. Sonia Gandhi is permanently out of reckoning for any public office. For those who instinctively understand that, this Note is to explain the factual basis for this conclusion, and suggest what patriotic Indians can do now . My opposition to Ms. Sonia Gandhi is not merely because she is Italian---born. In
other democratic countries, including in Italy, such an issue [of foreign-born aspiring to be head of government] would not even arise at all because the issue has already been settled by law, that a person cannot hold the highest public office unless he or she is native born. In India there is no such law, but the President according to my knowledge, correctly acted on a proviso to Section 5 of the Indian Citizenship Act[1955] which empowers the Union Home Ministry to lay down conditions that apply to Indian citizenship acquired by foreigners by registration, which conditions would be based on the principle of reciprocity, viz., in Ms Gandhi's case such of those conditions that apply to Indians on becoming citizens of Italy would apply to her. The President reportedly told her that if she insisted on being invited to form the government, he would want first to clarify, on a reference to the Supreme Court, whether in view of this proviso her
appointment as PM could be successfully challenged in the court. It is fair to assume that this report of the President's decision, is correct since the President had before him my petition dated May 15, 2004 making just that point--- that Ms. Gandhi's citizenship is conditional, and in particular she cannot be the PM legally. The President had also given me an appointment at 12.45 PM on May 17, 2004 to explain my submissions in person, which I did. I also told him that I would challenge such a constitutional appointment in the Supreme Court just as I had in 2001 when the Tamil Nadu Governor illegally swore in Ms Jayalalitha as Chief Minister. In that case, the Supreme Court had after hearing me and many other constitutional luminaries, upheld my contention that mere majority in the House is insufficient for being sworn in to a constitutional office. There must be no disqualification as well. Ms. Jayalalitha had therefore to step down because
she was disqualified by a conviction handed by a trial court in the TANSI corruption case filed by me as private complaint [she subsequently was acquitted by the Madras High Court, and hence became eligible the next year]. I also cited to the President a 1962 Allahabad High Court case, which held that this proviso in the Citizenship Act was binding and lawful. The nation in the Sonia matter has thus got an unexpected but temporary reprieve, a reprieve received not only because her citizenship of India by registration is not equal to one by birth even by Indian law, but also a reprieve more because of what national security risk was averted. To comprehend that risk, we must first understand who Sonia Gandhi really is and what danger she, her family and her friends in Italy hold for India's national security. Even for an Indian born citizen, we find it difficult to know a person's true background, but for an Italian born it is extremely hard
because of the remote access for most people to Italy in language and familiarity. This note is about that danger that Sonia represents to the nation, which the people need to know. II Ms. Sonia Gandhi's background as is publicized by her and her Congress Party today, is based on three lies to hide the ugly reality of her life. First, her real name is Antonia not Sonia. The Italian Ambassador in New Delhi revealed this in a letter dated April 27, 1983 to the Union Home Ministry which letter has not been made public. Antonia is Sonia's real name in her birth certificate. Sonia is the name given to her subsequently by her father, Stefano Maino [now deceased] following his return from Russia where he had been a prisoner of war. Stefano had joined the Nazi army as a volunteer. Sonia is a Russian not Italian name. While spending two years in a Russian jail, Sonia's father had become quite pro-Soviet; especially after the liberating US army in
Italy had confiscated all fascists' properties including his. Second, she was not born in Orbassano as she claims in her bio data submitted to Parliament on becoming MP, but in Luciana as stated in her birth certificate. She perhaps would like to hide the place of her birth because of her father's connection with the Nazis and Mussolini's Fascists, and her family's continuing connections with the Nazi-Fascists underground that is still surviving since 1945 in Italy. Luciana is where Nazi-Fascist network is headquartered, and is on the Italian-Swiss border. There can be no other explanation for this otherwise meaningless lie. Third, Sonia Gandhi has not studied beyond High School. She has falsely claimed in her affidavit filed as a contesting candidate before the Rae Bareli Returning Officer in the 2004 Lok Sabha elections, that she qualified and got a diploma inEnglish from the prestigious University of Cambridge, UK. The truth is that
Ms. Gandhi has never studied in any college anywhere. She did go to a Catholic nun run seminary-school called Maria Ausiliatrice in Giaveno [15 kms from adopted home town of Orbassabo]. Poverty those days forced young Italian girls to go to such missionaries and then in their teens go to UK to get jobs as cleaning maids, waitresses and au pair. The Mainos were poor those days. Her father was a mason and mother a share cropper. Sonia thus went to the town of Cambridge and first learnt some English in a teaching shop called Lennox School [which has since 1970 been wound up]. That is all her "education" is---learnt enough English language to get domestic help jobs. But in Indian society education is highly valued. Thus, to fool the Indian public, Sonia Gandhi willfully fibbed about her qualifications in Parliamentary records [which is a Breach of Ethics Rules] and in a sworn affidavit [which is criminal offence under IPC, severe enough to
disqualify her from being MP]. In popular parlance, this is called 420 or 10 "numberi" [not to be confused with 10 Janpath]. These three lies indicate that Ms. Sonia Gandhi has something to hide, or has a hidden agenda for India. We need to find out more about her. III Ms. Sonia Gandhi upon learning enough English became a waitress in Varsity Restaurant in Cambridge town. She first met Rajiv when he came to the restaurant in 1965. Rajiv was a student in the University, but could not cope with the academic rigour for long. So he had to depart in 1966 for London where he was briefly in Imperial College of Engineering as a student. Sonia too moved to London, and according my information, got a job with an outfit run by Salman Thassir, a debonair Pakistani based in Lahore, and who has a export- import company headquartered in Dubai but who spends most of his time in London. Thisfits the profile of an ISI functionary. Obviously, Sonia made
enough money in this job to loan Rajiv funds in London, who was obviously living beyond his allowances [Indira herself expressed anguish to me on this score in late 1965 when she invited me to a private tea at the Guest House in Brandeis University]. Rajiv's letters to Sanjay, who was also in London then, clearly indicate that he was in financial debt to Sonia because he requested Sanjay who obviously had more access to money, to pay off the debt. However, Rajiv was not the only friend Sonia was seeing those days. Madhavrao Scindia and a German by name Stiegler are worth mentioning as other good friends of Sonia. Madhavrao's friendship continued even after Sonia's marriage to Rajiv. Scindia in 1982 was involved in a traffic accident near IIT, Delhi main gate while driving a car at 2 AM. Sonia was the only other passenger. Both were badly injured. A student of IIT who was burning midnight oil was out for a cup of coffee. He picked them up
from the car, hailed an auto rickshaw and sent an injured Sonia to Mrs Indira Gandhi's house since she insisted in not going to a hospital. Madhavrao had broken a leg and in too much pain to make any demand. He was taken to hospital by the Delhi Police who had arrived a little after Sonia had left the scene. In later years, Madhavrao had become privately critical of Sonia, and told some close friends about his apprehensions about Sonia. It is a pity that he died in mysterious circumstances in an aircrash. The circumstance under which Rajiv hastily married Sonia in a Church in Orbassano is controversial but that was his personal matter that has no public significance. But what is of public significance is that Indira Gandhi who was initially dead set against the marriage for reasons known to her, relented to hold a registry marriage with Hindu ceremonial trappings in New Delhi only after the pro-Soviet T.N. Kaul prevailed upon her to accept the
marriage in "the larger interest of cementing Indo-Soviet Friendship". Kaul would not have intervened unless the Soviet Union had asked him to. IV Such has been the extensive patronage from the beginning extended to Sonia Gandhi from the Soviets. When a Prime Minister of India's son dates a girl in London, the KGB which valued Indo-Soviet relations, obviously would investigate her and find out that she was the daughter of Stefano, their old reliable Italian contact. Thus, Sonia with Rajiv meant deeper access to the household of the Indian Prime Minister. Hence cementing the Rajiv-Sonia relations was in the Soviet national interest and they went to work on it. And they did through their then existing moles in the Indira Gandhi camp. After her marriage to Rajiv, the Soviet connection with the Mainos was fortified and nurtured by generous financial help through commissions and kickbacks on every Indo,Soviet trade deal and defence purchases.
According to the respected Swiss magazine, Schweitzer Illustrate [November 1991 issue], Rajiv Gandhi had about $ 2 billion in numbered Swiss bank accounts, which Sonia inherited upon his assassination. Dr. Yevgenia Albats, Ph.D [Harvard], is a noted Russian scholar and journalist, and was a member of the KGB Commission set up by President Yeltsin in August 1991. She was privy to the Soviet intelligence files that documented these deals and KGB facilitation of the same. In her book,The State Within a State,The KGB in Soviet Union, she even gives the file numbers of such intelligence files, which can now be accessed by any Indian government through a formal request to the Kremlin. The Russsian Government in 1992 was confronted by the Albats' disclosure; they confirmed it through their official spokesperson to the press [which was published in Hindu in 1992], defending such financial payments as necessary in "Soviet ideological interest". When
the Soviet Union disintegrated in 1991, things changed for Ms. Sonia Gandhi. Her patrons evaporated. The rump that became Russia was in a financial mess and disorder. So Ms. Sonia Gandhi became a supporter of another communist country to the annoyance of the Russians. The national security ramification of this 'annoyance' is now significant: The President of Russia today is Putin, a former dyed- in-the-wool KGB officer. Upon Dr. Manmohan Singh's government taking office, Russia called back it's career diplomat Ambassador in New Delhi and immediately posted as the new Ambassador a person who was the KGB station chief in New Delhi during the 1970s. In view of Dr. Albats confirmed revelation, it stands to reason that the new Ambassador would have known first hand about Sonia's connections with the KGB. He may have in fact been her "controller". The new Indian government which is defacto Sonia's, cannot afford to annoy him or even disregard
Russian demands coming from him? They will obviously placate him so as not to risk exposure. Is this not a major national security risk and a delicate matter for the nation? Of course, all Indians would like good normal and healthy relations with Russia. Who can forget their assistance to us in times of need? Today's Russia is the residual legatee of that Soviet Union which helped India. But just because of that, should we tolerate those in our government set up having clandestine links with a foreign spy agency? In the United States, the government did not tolerate an American spying for Israel even though the two countries are as close as any two countries can be. National security and friendship are asdifferent as chalk and cheese. In December 2001, I had filed a Writ Petition in the Delhi High Court with the photocopies of the KGB documents, and sought a CBI investigation, which the Vajpayee Government was refusing. Earlier, Minister of
State for CBI, Vasundara Raje [now Rajasthan CM], on my letter dated March 3, 2001, had ordered the CBI to investigate. But after Sonia Gandhi and her party stalled the proceedings of Parliament on this issue, the then Prime Minister Vajpayee cancelled Vasundara's direction to the CBI. The Delhi High Court issued a direction to the CBI to ascertain from Russia the truth of my charges. The CBI procrastinated for three years, and finally told the Court without an FIR registered the Russians will not entertain any such query. But who stopped the CBI from registering an FIR? The next hearing of the case is on September 8th. V After Sonia married Rajiv, she went about minting money with scant regard for Indian laws and treasures. Within a few years the Mainos went from utter poverty to billionaires. There was no area that was left out for the rip-off. On November 19, 1974, as fresh entrant to Parliament, I asked the then Prime Minister Ms.
Indira Gandhi on the floor of the House if her daughter-in-law, Sonia Gandhi was acting as an insurance agent of a public sector insurance company [Oriental Fire & Insurance], giving the Prime Minister's official residence as her business address, and using undue influence to insure all the officers of the PMO while remaining an Italian citizen [thus violating FERA]? There was uproar in Parliament, but Mrs. Indira Gandhi had no alternative but to cut her losses. She made a rare admission that it was so, and that it was by mistake, but that Sonia had resigned from her insurance agent status [after my question]. But Sonia was incorrigible. Her contempt for Indian law continued to manifest. The Justice A.C. Gupta Commission set up by the Janata Party government in 1977 came out with a voluminous report on the Maruti Company then owned by the Gandhi family, and has listed eight violations of FERA, Companies Act, and Foreigners Registration Act
by Sonia Gandhi. She was never prosecuted, but can be still prosecuted because under Indian law, economic crimes not subject to the statute of limitation. In January 1980, Indira Gandhi returned as Prime Minister. The first thing Sonia did was to enroll herself as a voter. This was a gross violation of the law, enough to cause cancellation of her visa [since she was admittedly an Italian citizen then]. There was some hullabaloo in the press about it, so the Delhi Chief Electoral Officer got her name deleted in 1982. But in January 1983, she again enrolled herself as a voter! Such is her revealed disdain for Indian laws and that is her mindset even today. VI The bottom line observed in Sonia's mindset is that she can always run back to Italy if she becomes vulnerable at anytime. In Peru, President Fujimori who all along claimed to be "born Peruvian", faced with a corruption charge fled to Japan with his loot and reclaimed his Japanese
citizenship. In 1977, when the Janata Party defeated the Congress at the polls, and formed the government, Sonia with her two children, abandoned Indira Gandhi and ran to the Italian Embassy in New Delhi and hid there. Rajiv Gandhi was a government servant then [as an Indian Airlines pilot], but he too tagged along and hid in that foreign embassy ! Such was her baneful influence on him. Rajiv did snap out Sonia's influence after 1989, but alas he was assassinated before he could rectify it. Those close to Rajiv knew that he was planning set things right about Sonia after the 1991 elections. She did too know of it because he had told her. Ever wonder why Sonia's closest advisers are those whom Rajiv literally hated? Ambika Soni is one such name. Ever wonder why she asked the President of India to set aside, on a mercy petition, the Supreme Court judgment directing that Rajiv Gandhi's LTTE killers be hanged to death, when she was not similarly
moved for Satwant Singh who killed Indira Gandhi or recently for Dhanajoy Chattopadhyaya? The explanation for this special consideration for the LTTE lies in what Rajiv had told her in 1990. Those who have no love for India will not hesitate to plunder her treasures. Mohammed Ghori, Nadir Shah, and the British scum in the East India Company made no secret of it. But Sonia Gandhi has been more discreet, but as greedy, in her looting of Indian treasures. When Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were PrimeMinisters, not a day passed when the PM's security did not go to the New Delhi, or Chennai international airport to send crates and crates unchecked by customs to Rome. Air India and Alitalia were the carriers. Mr. Arjun Singh first as CM, later as Union Minister in charge of Culture was her hatchet man. Indian temple sculpture of gods and goddesses, antiques, pichwai paintings, shatoosh shawls, coins, and you name it, were transported to Italy to
be first displayed in two shops owned by her sister [i.e., Anuskha alias Alessandra]. These shops located in blue-collar areas of Rivolta [shop name: Etnica] and Orbassano [shop name:Ganpati] did little business because which blue collar Italian wants Indian antiques? The shops were to make false bills, and thereafter these treasures were taken to London for auction by Sotheby's and Christies. Some of this ill-gotten money from auction went into Rahul Gandhi's National Westminister Bank and Hongkong & Shanghai Bank, London accounts, but most of it found it's way into the Gandhi family account in the Bank of America in Cayman Islands. Rahul's expenses and tuition fees for the one-year he was at Harvard, was paid from the Cayman Island account. What kind of people are these Gandhi-Mainos that bite the very hand of Bharat Mata that fed them and gave them a good life? How can the nation trust such greedy thieves? Since I failed to persuade
the Vajpayee government to defend India's treasures from plunder by the Mainos, I approached the Delhi High Court in a PIL. The first Bench of the court issued notice to the Government, but since the Indian government dragged it's feet, the Court directed the CBI to seek Interpol's and Italian government's help. The Italian government justifiably asked for a Letter Rogatory for which a FIR is a pre-requisite. But the Interpol did oblige and submitted two voluminous reports, which the Court directed the CBI to hand over to me. But CBI has refused, and has claimed privilege! The CBI has also been caught lying in court by telling the judges that Alessandra Maino is a name of a man, and Via Bellini 14, Orbassano is a name of a village [not the street address of the Maino's residence]. Although the CBI counsel had to apologise to the court stating he made a mistake, he has been promoted to Additional Solicitor General by the new government! The
Vajpayee-Sonia mutual assistance pact is in full view. The case now comes up on September 8th. But the most sinister aspect of Sonia Gandhi's character is her connection with terrorists. I am still working on it, but she has had long connection with the Habash group of Palestinian, and has funded Palestinian families that lost their kith and kin in a suicide bombing or hijacking episode. This, Rajiv Gandhi himself told me and was confirmed to me [the funding] by Yassir Arafat when I met him in Tunis on October 17, 1990 at the request of Rajiv Gandhi. Rajiv Gandhi and I were good friends from 1978, but became very close buddies after V.P. Singh had betrayed him in 1987. We met practically every day, mostly in the early hours from 1AM to 4AM. It was at my suggestion that he made Chandrashekhar the PM. And contrary to public impression, he was not mainly responsible for the fall of Chandrashekar government in which I was a Minister. Besides the
Palestinian extremists, the Maino family have had extensive business dealings with Saddam Hussein, and surprisingly with the LTTE ["the Tamil Tigers"] since 1984. But D.R. Karthikeyan of the CBI who led the SIT investigation got the support of Narasimha Rao and cracked the case,
and got the LTTE convicted in the trial court, and which conviction was upheld in the Supreme Court. Although on the involvement of Congress Party in the assassination, DRK soft peddled on a number of leads perhaps because he did not want political controversy to put roadblocks on his investigation as a whole. The Justice J. S. In the meantime under Sonia's pressure, the Jain Commission was set up by the Rao government, which tried to muddy the waters and thus exonerate the LTTE. But the trial court judgment convicting the LTTE came earlier, and that sinister effort too failed. Nowadays, Sonia is quite unabashed in
having political alliance with those who praise Rajiv Gandhi's killers. Is it not significant that the political career of Sonia Gandhi advances concomitantly with a series of assassinations and apparently accidental deaths? How did Sanjay's plane nosedive to a crash and yet the fuselage not explode? There was no fuel! Why was there no inquiry conducted? Is it not a fact that Indira Gandhi died because of loss of blood from the wounds and not directly due to a bullet impacting her head or heart? Then is it not strange that Sonia had insisted that the bleeding Indira be driven to Lohia Hospital -- in the opposite direction to AIIMS, which
had a contingency protocol set up for precisely suchan event? And after reaching Lohia Hospital, did not Sonia change her mind and demand that they all drive to AIIMS thus losing 24 valuable minutes. The same kind of mystery surrounds the sudden deaths of Sonia's other political roadblocks such as Rajesh Pilot, Jitendra Prasad, and Madhavrao Scindia. Such things happened in the dark ages in Italy. Should we allow it India like dumb cattle? What Can We Do? We have to ensure that the Maino clan does not stay in power. Dr. Manmohan Singh may be PM, which is a small relief, but he is not a fighter. The real power in government today is wielded by the Maino mafia gang. Can they be dethroned? In Indian democracy, only a shocking scandal can unseat a government other than by losing majority. Today's priority is not for toppling the Congress government as such since Manmohan Singh is a decent and scholarly person, but in driving the Maino
clan out of India. It will however not be long before Sonia will give Manmohan Singh marching orders, and he will march out meekly. We should not expect him to resist. With Sonia's defacto government in place, it is also unrealistic to expect that I can get an early victory in the courts on the KGB and antique smuggling cases. The most potent weapon therefore to dislodge the Maino clan [including Rahul and Priyanka] is by exposing their Italian citizenship. In 1992, Sonia revived her citizenship of Italy under Article 17 of the Italian Citizenship Law [Act 91 of 1992]. Rahul and Priyanka were born Italian citizens because Sonia was Italian when she gave birth to them [Italian law based on jure sanguinis]. Hence, they continue be Italians since they never renounced it. Both have been traveling abroad on Italian passports. They may now acquire Venezuela passports since Rahul's girl friend Veronica is a Venezuelan. That means one more
foreign bahu for us tolerant Indians. The Maino-Gandhis are certainly getting globalized. So what can patriotic Indians do? There is an urgent need to document these facts on notarized paper, for which we need a network in London, Milan, Hongkong and Venezuela. Those persuaded by my above stated facts and arguments may join in and help set up this network.

Hindutva and radical Islam: Where the twain do meet

Arun Shourie

Posted online: Friday, December 28, 2007 at 0000 hrs IST

Your Hindutva is no different from Islamic fundamentalism’ — a fashionable statement these days, one that immediately establishes the person’s secular credentials. It is, of course, false, as we shall see in a moment. But there is a grain of potential truth in it — something that does not put Hinduism at par with Islam, but one that should, instead, serve as a warning to all who keep pushing Hindus around. That grain is the fact that every tradition has in it, every set of scriptures has in it enough to justify extreme, even violent reaction. From the very same Gita from which Gandhiji derived non-violence and satyagraha, Lokmanya Tilak constructed the case for ferocious response, not excluding violence. From the very same Gita from which Gandhiji derived his ‘true law’, shatham pratyapi satyam, ‘Truth even to the wicked’, the Lokmanya derived his famous maxim, shatham prati shaathyam, ‘Wickedness to the wicked.’

In the great work, Gita Rahasya, that he wrote in the Mandalay prison, the Lokmanya invokes Sri Samartha, ‘Meet boldness with boldness; impertinence by impertinence must be met; villainy by villainy must be met.’ Large-heartedness towards those who are grasping? Forgiveness towards those who are cruel? ‘Even Prahlada, that highest of devotees of the Blessed Lord,’ the Lokmanya recalls, has said, ‘Therefore, my friend, wise men have everywhere mentioned exceptions to the principle of forgiveness.’ True, the ordinary rule is that one must not cause harm to others by doing such actions as, if done to oneself, would be harmful. But, the Mahabharata, Tilak says, ‘has made it clear that this rule should not be followed in a society, where there do not exist persons who follow the other religious principle, namely, others should not cause harm to us, which is the corollary from this first principle.’ The counsel of ‘equability’ of the Gita, he says, is bound up with two individuals; that is, it implies reciprocity. ‘Therefore, just as the principle of non-violence is not violated by killing an evil-doer, so also the principle of self-identification [of seeing the same, Eternal Self in all] or of non-enmity, which is observed by saints, is in no way affected by giving condign punishment to evil-doers.’ Does the Supreme Being not Himself declare that He takes incarnations from time to time to protect dharma and destroy evil-doers? Indeed, the one who hesitates to take the retaliatory action that is necessary assists the evil to do their work. ‘And the summary of the entire teaching of the Gita is that: even the most horrible warfare which may be carried on in these circumstances, with an equable frame of mind, is righteous and meritorious.’

Tilak invokes the advice of Bhisma, and then of Yudhisthira, ‘Religion and morality consist in behaving towards others in the same way as they behave towards us; one must behave deceitfully towards deceitful persons, and in a saintly way towards saintly persons.’ Of course, act in a saintly way in the first instance, the Lokmanya counsels. Try to dissuade the evil-doer through persuasion. ‘But if the evilness of the evil-doers is not circumvented by such saintly actions, or, if the counsel of peacefulness and propriety is not acceptable to such evil-doers, then according to the principle kantakenaiva kantakam (that is, “take out a thorn by a thorn”), it becomes necessary to take out by a needle, that is by an iron thorn, if not by an ordinary thorn, that thorn which will not come out with poultices, because under any circumstances, punishing evil-doers in the interests of general welfare, as was done by the Blessed Lord, is the first duty of saints from the point of view of Ethics.’ And the responsibility for the suffering that is caused thereby does not lie with the person who puts the evil out; it lies with the evil-doers. The Lord Himself says, Tilak recalls, ‘I give to them reward in the same manner and to the same extent that they worship Me.’ ‘In the same way,’ he says, ‘no one calls the Judge, who directs the execution of a criminal, the enemy of the criminal...’

Could the variance between two interpretations be greater than is the case between the Lokmanya’s Gita Rahasya and Gandhiji’s Anashakti Yoga? Yet both constructions are by great and devout Hindus. Are ordinary Hindus nailed to Gandhiji’s rendering? After all, at the end of the Gita, Arjuna does not go off to sit at one of our non-violent dharnas. He goes into blood-soaked battle.

The comforting mistake

The mistake is to assume that the sterner stance is something that has been fomented by this individual or that —in the case of Hindutva, by, say, Veer Savarkar — or by one organisation, say the RSS or the VHP. That is just a comforting mistake — the inference is that once that individual is calumnised, once that organisation is neutralised, ‘the problem’ will be over. Large numbers do not gravitate to this interpretation rather than that merely because an individual or an organisation has advanced it — after all, the interpretations that are available on the shelf far outnumber even the scriptures. They gravitate to the harsher rendering because events convince them that it alone will save them.

It is this tectonic shift in the Hindu mind, a shift that has been going on for 200 years, which is being underestimated. The thousand years of domination and savage oppression by rulers of other religions; domination and oppression which were exercised in the name of and for the glory of and for establishing the sway of those religions, evinced a variety of responses from the Hindus. Armed resistance for centuries... When at last such resistance became totally impossible, the revival of bhakti by the great poets... When public performance even of bhakti became perilous, sullen withdrawal, preserving the tradition by oneself, almost in secrecy: I remember being told in South Goa how families sustained their devotion by painting images of our gods and goddesses inside the tin trunks in which sheets and clothing were kept. The example of individuals: recall how the utter simplicity and manifest aura of Ramakrishna Paramhamsa negated the efforts of the missionaries, how his devotion to the image of the Goddess at Dakshineshwar restored respectability to the idolatry that the missionaries and others were traducing... The magnetism of Sri Aurobindo and Ramana Maharshi... Gandhiji’s incontestable greatness and the fact that it was so evidently rooted in his devotion to our religion...

Each of these stemmed much. But over the last 200 years the feeling has also swelled that, invaluable as these responses have been, they have not been enough. They did not prevent the country from being taken over. They did not shield the people from the cruelty of alien rulers. They did not prevent the conversion of millions. They did not prevent the tradition from being calumnised and being thrown on the defensive. They did not in the end save the country from being partitioned — from being partitioned in the name of religion...

There is a real vice here. The three great religions that originated in Palestine and Saudi Arabia — Judaism, Christianity and Islam — have been exclusivist — each has insisted that it alone is true — and aggressive. The Indic religions — Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism — have been inclusive, they have been indulgent of the claims of others. But how may the latter sort survive when it is confronted by one that aims at power, acquires it, and then uses it to enlarge its dominion? How is the Indic sort to survive when the other uses the sword as well as other resources — organised missionaries, money, the state — to proselytise and to convert? Nor is this question facing just the Hindus in India today. It is facing the adherents of Indic traditions wherever they are: look at the Hindus in Indonesia and Malaysia; look at the Buddhists in Tibet, now in Thailand too. It is because of this vice, and the realisation born from what had already come to pass that Swami Vivekananda, for instance, while asking the Hindus to retain their Hindu soul, exhorted them to acquire an ‘Islamic body’.

Instigating factors

We can be certain that his counsel will prevail, our secularists notwithstanding,

• The more aggressively the other religions proselytise — look at the fervour with which today the Tablighi Jamaat goes about conversion; look at the organised way in which the missionaries ‘harvest’ our souls;

• The more they use money to increase the harvest — whether it is Saudi money or that of Rome and the American churches;

• The more any of them uses violence to enlarge its sway;

• The more any of them allies itself with and uses the state — whether that of Saudi Arabia or Pakistan — for aggrandisement.

Nor is what others do from outside the only determinant. From within India, three factors in particular will make the acquiring of that Islamic body all the more certain:

• The more biased ‘secularist’ discourse is;

• The more political parties use non-Hindus — Muslims, for instance — as vote banks and the more that non-Hindu group comes to act as one — ‘strategic voting’ and all;

• The more the state of India bends to these exclusivist, aggressive traditions.

It has almost become routine to slight Hindu sentiments — our smart-set do not even notice the slights they administer. Recall the jibe of decades: ‘the Hindu rate of growth’. When, because of those very socialist policies that their kind had swallowed and imposed on the country, our growth was held down to 3-4 per cent, it was dubbed — with much glee — as ‘the Hindu rate of growth’. Today, we are growing at 9 per cent. And, if you are to believe the nonsense in Sachar’s report, the minorities are not growing at all. So, who is responsible for this higher rate of growth? The Hindus! How come no one calls this higher rate of growth ‘the Hindu rate of growth’? Simple: dubbing the low rate as the Hindu one established you to be secular; not acknowledging the higher one as the Hindu rate establishes you to be secular!

Or M.F. Husain. He is a kindly man, and a prodigiously productive artist. There is no warrant at all for disrupting all his exhibitions. I am on the point of sensibilities. His depictions of Hindu goddesses have been in the news: he has painted them in less than skimpy attire. I particularly remember one in which Sita is riding Hanuman’s stiffened tail — of course, she is scarcely clad, but that is the least of it: you need no imagination at all to see what she is rubbing up against that stiffened tail. Well, in the case of an artist, that is just inspiration, say the secularists. OK. The question that arises then is: How come in the seventy-five years Husain has been painting, he has not once felt inspired, not once, to paint the face of the Prophet? It doesn’t have to be in the style in which he has painted the Hindu goddesses. Why not the most beautiful, the most radiant and luminous face that he can imagine? How come he has never felt inspired to paint women revered in Islam, or in his own family, in the same style as the one that propelled his inspiration in regard to Hindu goddesses?

‘In painting the goddesses, he was just honouring them,’ a secular intellectual remarked at a discussion the other day. ‘It was his way of honouring them.’ Fine. It is indeed the case that one of the best ways we can honour someone is to put the one skill we have at the service of the person or deity. But how come that Husain never but never thought of honouring the Prophet by using the same priceless skill, that one ‘talent which is death to hide’?

‘Has Mr Shourie ever visited Khajuraho?,’ a member of the audience asked, the implication being that, as Hindu sculptors had depicted personages naked, what was wrong with Husain depicting the goddesses in the same style. Fine again. But surely, it is no one’s case that the ‘Khajuraho style’ must be confined to Hindu icons. Why has the artist, so skilled in deploying the Khajuraho motifs, never used them for icons of Islam? The reason why an artist desists from depicting the Prophet’s face is none of these convoluted disquisitions on style.

The reason is simplicity itself: he knows he will be thrashed, and his hands smashed.

Exactly the same holds for politics. How come no one objects when for years a Muslim politician keeps publishing maps of constituencies in which Muslims as Muslims can determine the outcome, and exhorting them to do so? When, not just an individual politician but entire political parties — from the Congress to the Left parties — stir Muslims up as a vote bank. When Muslims start behaving like a vote bank, you can be certain that someone will get the idea that Hindus too should be welded into a vote bank, and eventually they will get welded into one. Why is stoking Muslims ‘secular’ and stoking Hindus ‘communal’?

And yet perverted discourse, even the stratagems of political parties, are but preparation: they prepare the ground for capitulation by the state to groups that are aggressive. And in this the real lunacy is about to be launched, and, with that, the real reaction.

MIYAIN BHUTTO HO GAI ALLAH PYARI

COMMENT BY A PATRIOT ON BENAZIR'S ASSASSINATION AND ON PAKISTAN IN GENERAL:

Benajeer Bhutto is now "Allah Pyari".

This must be the umpteenth gruesome assassination in the history of the 60 year old Terrorist State of Pakistan -a state carved out of Bharat & created purely for the chosen followers of Allah's Islam...the religion of "Peace, Tolerance” & yes, of course, that oft repeated word "COMASSIONATE".

The long list of political assassinations in Pakistan is well known to all who have cared to follow its history. However, I have always contended that the country whose very soil & foundation are drenched with the blood of hundreds & thousands of innocent & defenseless Hindu men, women & children slaughtered during the partition will never see peace and prosperity in its existence.

Down every water well and river of Pakistan flows the blood of innocent Hindus. In fact, blood of the dead Hindus runs in the very veins of this rogue nation often called the Epicenter of Global Terrorism. Facts about the brutal manner in which the Hindus were butchered in Pakistan have been surreptiously suppressed by not only the world media and the wily British but also by the power hungry knave - Jawaharlal Nehru who did not wish ANYTHING to mar his lust to be the PM of India. The Brits had conveyed to the world that the transfer of power was a smooth one and thus, the greatest holocaust in Human history, one far greater than perhaps the Jewish holocaust has remained an untold story. Too bad that the current generation of Indians are clueless about their own history.

The fact that Pakistan today serves as the source of Global Terror needs no elaboration. However, apart from terrorism, the Pakis have their finger in almost every possible crime committed on a global scale against humanity such as A Q Khan giving the deadly nuclear technology to other rogue countries, a crime for which he has remained unpunished. Pakistan is also the clearinghouse for the opium harvested in Afghanistan. It is believed that most of the top politicians in Pakistan are major players in this illicit business and have amassed unfathomable amounts of wealth in its export. Their frequent & ostentatious trips to foreign countries provide ample evidence to this fact. Just take a look at some of the real estate owned by Pakis in Pakistan the UK (another Pakistan in the making)!

Now, to the topic of the day...the assassination of Benajeer Bhutto. Upon getting the news some two hours after it had happened, I called my friend in Pakistan. She was furious - not at the perpetrators of the heinous killings but at the dead Benajeer who she blamed for the recent unrest in Pakistan. She further added that Benajeer Bhutto knew she would be eliminated and would also cause death & destruction of several others but continued her "Martyr like" behavior and now "see what happened?"

What has happened is nothing new in that hellhole. Like other Prime Ministers & Presidents, including her own father before her, Benajeer too got plucked by Allah Mian by means of the bullet.

May she rest in peace.

Very rightly you said, "the foundation stone of Pakistan is the bones and blood of the innocent Hindus and Sikhs who were massacred in 1947."

Pakistan is purely British creation or mischief. An old parliamentary democracy, boasting of secularism and Magna Carta, misused her absolute power over the natives, gave vast territories of India to Islamic beast that, ironically, has now dug its teeth into the soft flesh of mainland United Kingdom itself in order to bleed her to death in the manner of the death of United India.

Britain at that time did not think it relevant to hold REFERENDUM over the issue of BOGUS partition that was to retain the Muslims in India while wiping out the Hindus in Pakistan.

Someone has called Pakistan an illegitimate "bastard child" of India born as a result of her rape by indigenous Muslims, encouraged by the British rulers at the time.

The act of creating the artificial Muslim State called Pakistan was High Treason against enslaved India without example in history. It was imposition of ALIEN Koran written in ARABIC from another beastly wild world upon the subservient, soft and gentle natives of sub continent.

Today the intellectual and cultural wilderness of Islamic Pakistan, where assassinations, murder, rape, prostitution and killings are daily routine, is the same soil upon which centuries ago great Rishis and genuine Mahatmas composed Vedas and Scriptures, where Guru Nanak was born who went around the known world with his gentle message of universal peace and love, where Guru Arjun Dev compiled Sri Guru Granth Sahib that contrasts sharply with the blood curdling message in the "Kafir killer" Koran, and where the Guru himself was tortured to death, and where in our own time brave patriots like Bhagat Singh were hanged to death in Lahore for the sake of a united, secular, civilised India, not for the sake of savage Islamic Pakistan.

It is the same soil where once renowned universities stood at Nalanda and Taxila that turned out scholars and thinkers, where in our own time Madrassas of Indoctrination & Brainwashing have sprung up to produce the Taliban and the suicide bombers.

One could also add:

Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in Rawalpindi, the very city where bloodthirsty Muslim mobs went on rampage, killing men and women, dragging out girls to be raped, wiping out village after village, removing any trace of Hindu and Sikh life.

In March 1947 reporters accompanying Viceroy Mountbatten in somes towns in that area saw "charred bodies covering the streets like the pheasants after the shoot." Those reports and photos were never shown to the nation and those journalists who accompanied the Viceroy on that trip kept silence.

The faint semblance of a Sikh Holocaust Museum is seen INDOORS in several Gurdwaras where the massacre of Gurus, their followers and even minor children is well depicted, but nothing OUTDOORS to tell the world of the great massacres that took place in Rawalpindi during 1947.

Benazir was a first cousin of Rajiv Khan who perished in the same way on May 21, 1991. Benazir tried to bring democracy to military dictatorship while "dirty" Rajiv depicted himself as Mr Clean in the midst of all that filth of rampant corruption.

There is an ironic angle to the current fate of Pakistan. Pervez Musharraf is INDIAN by birth. Like Zia Ul Haq he was born on the soil that is still India. Both these men brought to Pakistan an agony of death from the land of their birth. It is the subconscious wish to take revenge, to punish the Pakistanis, to put them all in Hell on earth.

General Zia ul Haq used the stick of ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALISM while General Pervez Musharraf, allied to the USA, is wiping out Al Qaida and the Taliban. Both of them are doing to Pakistan what the silent anguish of the land of their birth would have wished them to do- beat the Pakistani traitors on their heads, on their backs, on their buttocks and on their legs, not sparing even the barristers, the advocates, the lawyers and the teachers, for the crime of ATTACKING the integrity and unity of their own Motherland (India) in order to break her up into three parts.

In other words it is the revenge by the Combined Spirit of Sri Ram, Krishna, Guru Nanak and Guru Gobind Singh ji that these unworthy "children" of India drowned in the QUAGMIRE of Islam that flowed out of the rough tough brutal ARABIA like Tsunami, covering free and intellectual green pastures of genuine democracy and secularism like the Lava that covered the city of Pompeii in 79 AD. Gentle sons of soil who respected girls, calling them “devi”, and women, honouring them as mothers, became woman oppressors & beaters- Taliban style.

In the morning Benazir met Hamid Karzai, President of Afghanistan to discuss Pak-Afghan relations. Within a few hours she was gone to God. The question is, How long will Karzai survive if the American Infidels pull out? And, how long will Pervez Musharraf survive without his Kafir backers in Washington?

We will go on watching the mounting chaos and political convulsions in Pakistan till it reaches the logical conclusion when not one but several civil wars will break out and the five states, Sindh, Baluchistan, NWFP, West Punjab and Swat (North Kashmir) break away and become sovereign like Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Albania and East Bengal (now Bogusdesh).

The Hindus need not be complacent if the treacherous "Hindu bashing" Nehru Dynasty, and the bogus Gandhis, continue indefinitely to suffocate the FREE HINDU SPIRIT & SPIRITUALITY in Bharat, holding them tightly in their ideological grip.

REQUEST TO MODIJI

Now that Modi ji,

Now that you have come back to the power in Gujrat which is a sign of faith posed the the masses in you.

There were broadly one issue which was supported by masses in addition to the developmental work done by you. The issue was encounter of anti-national Sohrabbudin.

The honest officers I G Vanzara and other officers languishing in jail and getting the harrassement for killing a terrorist and anti-national Sohrabuddin and his fellows, should be brought out of the jail with all the might possible at your end !

I would again like to highlight a fact which was forwarded by Mr.Govindan Menon, that Sohrabbudin was a aide of the well known underworld don and anti-national of Gujrat - Latif. He was a pain for the nation and the police of gujrat and entire country.

A humble request is to come to the rescue of these real Heros of our society. No one will other-wise dare to shoot the anti nationalists in future.

Let us fight against the effort of giving this a communal color.

Please forward this request to everyone and make sure that honest officers are out of Jail Immediately. That'll be the real celeberation of Victory !!

With Regards,
Rajat Krishan

Subj: Fascists in UPA---The Antonia Family
" All notorious Fascists have been European and Sonia's roots, religion, and loyalties are Mafia-Fascist. She herself is a good example of a Fascist Dictator, fake names, costumes, and non-existent Cambridge degrees, Bofors and Cousin Qs. A coal scuttle calling the Hindu kettle black. A foot-in-mouth-ka-saudaagar."

This sharp and truthful insight from the brilliant pen of Vijayan should make the entire nation pause.

How come many politico's in the country, particularly those in Congress and Commies, suffer such fascism and indulge in chamcha-giri?

A family which lacks the grace to congratulate the winner is a fascist family. How come the UPA supremos, Antonia and Raoul have not called Modi to congratulate him for his stunning victory for hindutva?

My Take:
1. Quote: How come the UPA supremos, Antonia and Raoul have not called Modi to congratulate him for his stunning victory for hindutva?

Answer: Because Antonia has become a Dento-Pedologist ( Has a Foot In Her Mouth ).

With what face, can she now call up Modi, and tell him that her arse is showing ?

Maut ka Saudagar', 'Liar', 'the Ugly Indian' etc etc etc.

All the kind of epithets, the likes of which till now used to come easily out of President George Bush's mouth and the pens of his neo conservative supporters.

Mr Bush should be worried that he has now a growing number of competitors in the coining of demonising epithets in the community of the self-styled secularists of India.

What epithets they did not use against Narendra Modi for the last five years and particularly in the weeks before the election to the Gujarat legislative assembly, in which the Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party won a spectacular victory despite the best (or worst) efforts of these self-styled secularists to demonise him day in and day out!

The pathological dislike -- even hatred -- that some of our journalists -- particularly in the electronic media -- have for Modi could be seen or sensed as one watched the television coverage of the counting of votes on December 23.

Initially, as it appeared that the BJP might not do well in the final tally, there was excitement among many television anchors. They thought they had tasted blood. After an hour, the BJP candidates started racing ahead and it became clear the the Congress was in for a drubbing.

The disappointment on the faces of some of the anchors was to be seen to be believed. A star lady anchor could not help remarking: 'Modi might be able to win the elections in Gujarat, but he still can't get a visa to go to the US and other Western countries.' Some consolation!

Instead of spending their time searching for abusive expressions in the dictionary and in their copy-book of such expressions, if these self-styled secularists had only visited the Web sites, discussion groups and blogspots of members of the Hindu community not only in India, but also in other countries of the world -- particularly in the US -- they would have noticed something, which might have given them cause for introspection.

They would have noticed that Modi is becoming the icon of a growing number of Hindus not only in India, but also in the Hindu Diaspora spread across the world. The support for him is not confined only to the Gujarati-speaking Hindus of the world. It is spread right across the Hindu spectrum -- whatever be the language or ethnicity or place of origin of the Hindus concerned.

They would have noticed that in the Hindu Diaspora in the West, more young people admire Modi than grown-ups. Many of his young admirers in the US were born and brought up there and had the benefit of the best of secular education. In spite of this, there is a sense of pride in them that the Hindu community has at long last produced a leader of the calibre of Modi.

What is it they see in him?

His simple and austere living of the kind associated with the late Kamaraj of Tamil Nadu, but not seen in the leaders of today?

His reputation as an incorruptible politician, the likes of which is not found anywhere in India, not even in his own party?

His style of development-oriented governance, which even his detractors do not hesitate to praise?

The fruits of his policy, which Gujarat and its people are already enjoying?

His tough stance on terrorism?

His lucid-thinking on matters concerning our national security?

His defiance in the face of the greatest campaign of demonisation mounted against him, the likes of which only Indira Gandhi had faced from her political opponents and sections of the media in the 1970s?

All these are factors, which influence their favourable perception of him, and which have already been highlighted and analysed in the articles on his impressive election victory.

But there is one factor, which is more important than these and which has not found mention in the analyses.

That is, for large sections of the Hindus -- young and old, even more among the young than among the old -- he gave them a sense of pride in their identity as Hindus.

They feel that he removed from their minds long habits of defensiveness as Hindus carefully nurtured by the self-styled secularists.

As if to proclaim one's Hindu identity and to assert one's rights as Hindus in their own homeland in which they are in a vast majority (80 per cent of the population) is to be communal, is to become an ugly Indian.

For these self-styled secularists, a pretty Indian is a Hindu, who is all the time on the defensive, fights shy of proclaiming his Hindu personality and asserting his rights as a member of the majority community.

These self-styled secularists would not address their sermons of secularism to the Islamic countries, where for a Muslim to convert a non-Muslim into Islam is an act blessed by Allah, but for a non-Muslim to convert a Muslim into his religion is a crime calling for the death penalty.

For them, secularism is a virtue which a Hindu should practise towards others, but not others towards him.

It is Modi's rejection of this hypocrisy of the self-styled secularists, which makes him stand apart as a Hindu leader with a difference in the eyes of his admirers.

Bharathiyar, the Tamil poet who inspired millions of Tamil youth to join the independence struggle under Mahatma Gandhi, wrote: Tamizhanenru Chollada, Talai Nimirndhu Nillada (Say You Are a Tamil, Hold Your Head High).

The growing legion of Modi's admirers in the Hindu community all over the world are saying: Hindu Enru Chollada, Talai Nimirndu Nillada (Say You Are A Hindu, Hold Your Head High).

They are no longer prepared to be defensive in proclaiming their Hindu idenity, in asserting their rights as Hindus.

They are secular in the genuine sense of the word, but for them secularism does not mean developing a guilt complex about being a Hindu and all the time conceding the rights of others. They do not accept the argument that a Hindu, who asserts his rights, ceases to be a secularist. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~

MODI'S WIN AND PROSPECTS OF BJP IN NEXT GENERAL ELECTIONS

MODI WINS BUT BJP LOSES

There were multiple reasons for Narender Modi repeating sweep in Gujarat assembly-elections despite ant-incumbency factor and if BJP wishes to repeat the trend at national level in next Lok Sabha elections to, it will have to compare its defeat in last Lok Sabha elections with present victory in Gujarat assembly-elections. Narender Modi gave an honest administration aiming on bird’s eye for a prosperous and vibrant Gujarat, while BJP lost last Lok Sabha elections because its regime crossed all limits of corruption with sole aim to mint money by virtue of power. BJP projects aged and confused persons as its Prime Ministerial aspirants with their sole individual aim to reach to the Prime Ministerial chair, while young and determined Narender Modi is in practice following ‘Common Man’ rather than ‘Chief Minister’ to be full form of an abbreviation ‘CM’. Last but not the least BJP will have to pray that Congress repeats blunders like using terms ‘Merchants of Death’ to polarize Hindu votes in favor of BJP in next general elections! Instead of seeing daylight dreams of a government at the centre, BJP should first analyze reasons for its defeat in recently held by-elections in its stronghold Madhya Pradesh.
